Hunter Abal

Hunter Abal is a Kuwaiti-American director based in Los Angeles. His work moves between cultures, histories, and theatrical forms, often reworking existing texts through a contemporary lens. He is interested in physical performance, visual composition, and what a stage can do that words alone cannot. He holds an MFA in Directing for Performance from CalArts. His work has been presented at venues such as REDCAT and Highways Performance Space.
